Kitty never returned home. I guess he is gone for good.

Doing Foxy's updates this morning and then a bit of mainstream work.

I have an Air BnB guest coming in on the redeye this evening.

Going to watch the final episode of Sense 8 and then start of Orange is the New Black.

Morning

Woke up yesterday not feeling great which turned into a nightmare by noon. From shivering cold one minute to burning up and sweating like a pig the next. Still not feeling well but up long enough to sub to paid accounts.

It's almost time to feed the cats and then back to bed. After that nap I will transfer to the couch and watch Orange until the next nap

Got soaked in a sudden downpour that started just five minutes before I got home. What makes it worse is that I just missed a train by about a second (literally, I touched the door release as the train started to move off). The trains are every 15 minutes, so if I had arrived at the station a few seconds earlier and had caught that train I'd have been home ten minutes before it started raining and be nice and dry.

Try the British system. We have 6 major channels with no adverts -two are the equivalent of your "network" stations, one is a 24 hour news channel, and the other three more specialist (one is slightly "highbrow", one is aimed at the 18-30 market, and the third runs children's TV). We also have an on-demand service with over 24 hours worth of new shows every day (i.e. more than you can watch) with no adverts. And we have several national radio stations, and loads of local radio stations with no adverts.

However, in exchange for this we have to pay the equivalent of about $200 a year tax for owning a TV. This is not pay-to view. Even if you never watch these stations, and even if you never watch TV, you have to pay this tax.

So, basically, you gets what you pays for. You want your TV free, you got to watch the ads. You go ad free and eventually Uncle Sam will be deducting money from you for the pleasure of going ad free!
