Good Day
![]() Spent 12 hours driving up the coast yesterday and it was great. It also happens to be historic/exotic car weekend in Monterrey so there was a number of exotic cars in clubs/rallys driving up as well. Always see exotics on this trip but this time they were in groups like 6 Lamborghini Aventadors in a row, 3 Lamborghini Diablos, 4 Ferrari 458s, 5 Porsche GT 3s and so on. Spotted a Porsche Carrera GT and 918 Spyder. Gotta have big balls/money to drive a near million dollar car in stop and go traffic. We were in stop and go traffic behind the Batventador for miles coming into Monterrey. Taking it easy today with a small drive on a gorgeous twisty road through redwood trees to a nice little restaurant for lunch and then later tonight a dinner/wine tasting/concert with Chris Isaac. Should be fun. Quote:
It's what I am on now because I can easily take it traveling. I keep absolutely nothing on it and sign in as guest so it keeps no history. If I lose/break it or gets stolen I can go to a store and buy another one without any worries at all, even on vacation |

Today someone came and fixed the water boiler It is now working. Sadly they knackered up the plumbing at the same time, so I got a lovely hot tank of water and no way to get it out of the tank!
![]() Vegetarian (soya) bolognese for dinner tonight. Partially to try and get back on my diet, but mostly because I have been pumping too much fat into my veins over the past few days and they need a rest from it. Bolognese is not something I am good at, I usually make a lousy meat one. So instead of risking whatever inedible nightmare I would create using ground soya instead of meat I'm auditioning a new "all in one" packet mix. The soya and sauce come already mixed in a bag, just add water and boil. Bet I fuck it up though! |
