Net Verifier Check Bounced
Today I received a check for the past period so that was good news.
I also received a letter from my bank with a bounced check from the last NV one I received plus a fee of $19 for non sufficient funds. Took both checks to Wells Fargo, their bank, and they cashed the bounced one with a fee of $7.50 since I do not have an account there. Bad thing is they said they could not cash the second one. When asked why they stated that they could not give a reason. I would assume it was insufficient funds. Guess I will have to try again next week. For those getting checks you may want to go to Wells Fargo to see if they will cash it versus getting hit with a non sufficient funds fee. |

Deposited mine using my phone a few days ago. Haven't heard anything from my bank so I guess it didn't bounce.

Cleo, hopefully it won't. I deposited mine about 9 days prior to being notified.

That whole Netverifier situation stinks. Richard needs a visit from the FTC ...

I was able to cash the second check today but it sure did take a while before they would do it. Of course another $7.50 fee for no account there. I may need to open an account there to cut out these fees, especially when I have to do this twice a month.

Well that is a bit harsh, but "incompetent" would probably fit!
However he must have major charisma, because if a sponsor were to screw around as much as he has done over the past year or so, no webmaster would still be using him. But many, many webmasters are still hanging on and using NV. |

The term crook fits because if he is writing people checks that bounce (bad checks) then he is doing something criminal. Bad checks over 100 dollars is a felony after all.
I'm going to be contacting the FTC tomorrow to see what can be done. Last edited by webguy788; 2015-08-27 at 05:56 AM.. |

Not really defending them at all
but each check since then has cleared so maybe there was a glitch in transferring of funds from one account to another that created this hick up. |

JustRobert, You shouldnt defend it. I mean how many times have you had to beg Rich to send you a replacement check for a late payment?
All I know is when Joe worked there payments NEVER went out late and checks ALWAYS cleared. And we have been waiting 9 months for statistic servers to go back online. Ecchi, you know of another AVS? |

webguy788,
Guess I was sorta defending the situation because I believe 1 bounced check does not negate a call to the FTC. Shit happens and I understand that. I can be too easy going sometimes Obviously you read the NV board since you know about my begging for replacement checks. In those situations that was complete BS and remember he also removed comments from Shemp and I about all this and the ongoing BS going on with servers. That was absolute BS as well. I do not defend these situations at all. I believe that Rich is the only person left so he is probably overwhelmed. I also believe he, like many other programs, is just squeaking by so funds are low and that is why it is taking so long to "redo" the servers OR he is just shaving the fuck out of everyone. Those are just assumptions with no facts or proof at all. What I do know is that NV's processor was Zombaio, at least a few years ago it was. Another assumption, his problems started right after theirs did so gotta believe he was/is still using them and that the server issues have everything to do with Zombaio. "if there was another AVS with recurring payments, there would be a mass exodus ..." If sex key was smart they would jump on this. Of course getting rid of that sign up for free crap with the immediate pornking trial subscription and prechecked screw subscription would help. No wonder when I've done side by side comparisons that 99.9% of the people chose paid sign up with NV versus free SK. Last edited by JustRobert; 2015-08-28 at 11:14 AM.. |

I don't do AVS anymore, gave up years ago when I got screwed over by someone who is now no longer in business. However I did ask that question a while back on this board and the only other AVS mentioned was Sex Key.
Or: If you speak French I believe there is a French AVS still in business. And at least one based either in Russia or an ex-soviet country. But like I said, you want to make a few $$$$, start one yourself! |

Hardest part if you want to start one like NV (with sites from other people) is the billing from what I understand. I know under ccbill that you/company must own all domains/content for approval. At least that is what I remember reading a while back. I think there may be way around this but have not researched further as of yet.

I am not a with hit noise person, but in the darkest of darkest Africa Wells Fargo was a horrible noise to those of us that are white, and beautiful "noise for those that are black" Never heard of such a bank

http://www.a1adultebooks.com/book.htm?pr=1086&id=ecchi The link goes to one of the books I publish, it is sold for me by Stuart in the same way someone may run an AVS. They have a 3rd party credit card processor who agrees this business model, so presumably would agree an AVS business model. (And that book is one extra degree removed - customer pays the card processor - they pay Stuart - Stuart pays me - I pay the author. Even more convoluted than an AVS!) Shemp,
We you depositing two of their checks at the same time or just the one? I've had problems with trying to get even two cashed with their bank at the same time. |

Reason given: America's banks use such shitty, backwards, outdated technology that their equipment won't talk to European banks' more modern equipment and it has to be done manually! Me, I think it is because, since Americans don't know how to spell "cheque", it takes them 4 to 8 weeks to work out what one is! Last edited by ecchi; 2015-09-05 at 08:15 PM..
