Just finished and got paid for this EDDM design.

Fred is still way too far away to worry about.

But I did survive this last hurricane and now the rebuilding starts.

Overslept again this morning, got up about quarter to nine. However when I went out to get a late lunch (on account of having a late breakfast) and do some shopping, a little after 2pm, I appeared to be the only person up in the building! So I guess 9am is early round here!

Got a padlock for the bathroom, to lock it from the outside. Due to the way this building was converted into bedsits, then into flats, my bathroom opens out into the hall, not into my apartment. That was no problem under the old landlord who only rented to respectable tenants (God knows how I got passed him). However since the new landlord started renting to junkies, dealers, and fences, everyone and his auntie (i.e. their customers) treat it as a public lavatory. Many even use it as a bin, opening the door and throwing their rubbish into it. After over a year of my moaning the landlord at last put a padlockable bolt on the door yesterday, so today I got a padlock for it.

Within ten minutes of fixing it, I heard someone moaning and yelling in the hall because they could not get in. - Hee Hee!
