One of those exsanguination machines was mean to me.

How the dialysis machines work is that they take out my blood, filter it, then pump it back into my body (less a small percentage). However, the other day it was only happy doing the first two, it refused point blank to give me my blood back. The nurse tried pouring soap into it's works (real technical mechanical stuff that), it still refused. So she tried to pump it back with a hand pump (fitted on the machine in case there is a power cut during the process) No luck, the machine was actively blocking her. She got a bigger, stronger nurse to try. Still no luck, the machine was even bigger and stronger than the big strong nurse. In the end they gave up, and put saline solution into me from a drip. Saline solution (basically purified sea water) may provide the bulk, but not the haemoglobin etc. that blood needs. I nearly passed out outside my own home!

They say that bleeding to death is a peaceful way to go, I never believed that until now. The effects of having too little blood must be similar to the early stages of bleeding out, and I felt incredibly peaceful. I was aware that there was a risk I was about to pass out and if I did I would be lying alone and unconscious in the street in a not safe area. And I would be doing it just after the bars closed, when the streets would be full of drunk assholes. Yet this did not feel like a problem to me, it just felt like I was about to take a nice nap. (Fortunately I managed to get indoors and sit down before loosing it.)

Well, my day was not nearly as adventurous as Ecchi's! I worked & ended up going out to dinner with my niece for her 18th birthday.

The Bitch took today off because my step-daughter got her tix to go see Theresa Caputo

Other than that, I need to take out the garbage...
