That sucks JustRobert.
My mother is like that too. She tried to hide my fathers cancer and also I know something is wrong with her, she just keep insisting she's well. I've given up But to witheld a death message? That is a bit over the top. When my father died (for other reasons later) his new ladys daughter told me, at the funeral, her kids liked my father so much she hadn't had the guts to tell them.
