Up And Out Thursday (2015-01-08)
Good morning.
I am up and out early to go to a funeral this morning. Death happens. This morning, I got notice my first submission to the Hun. I will be looking forward to the traffic this Sunday (and I hope a sale or two). So, what's up with you? |

Death Sucks
Just finished walking home from dropping my car off and just got a call from the car place saying that they have no idea what the problem is so it is going to have to go to the dealer. |

Good Morning
Another day with a ton of work to do with the hopes of more sales/retention. Plus I forgot to pick up a couple items on my errand run yesterday so back out today for a few minutes and will probably pick up lunch again since I am out. |

Happy Birthday To The King
Elvis birthday today. 80 if he had lived!
One of my neighbours just got accepted in sheltered accommodation for the elderly. I congratulated him, he lives in a small one room apartment, the entire place smaller than most people's bathroom, so getting a large apartment in what is basically an "old people's home" is good for him. But I nearly hit him when he suggested I applied for a similar apartment! Well you must know him more intimately than me. All he ever gives me is the occasional game of chess. |

Just heard on TV that 7% of Americans think that Elvis is still alive. So from the "post views" column I can estimate that about 3 people read my last post and thought "What does Ecchi mean 'if he had lived', he is alive and celebrating his birthday somewhere!"

Slightly different words, but still no idea what a "hound" really is:
Elvis - "They said you were high class but that was just a lie... you ain't nothing but a hound dog." Big Mama Thornton - "They though you were high class but I can see through that... you ain't nothing but a hound dog." If they knew what the word actually meant - "You really are high class....that's why they call you a hound dog." |
