MrMaryLou Update 2 :(
After I saw him on Tuesday he had a Dr's appt on Wednesday morning. Nothing new there, but he fell & hit his head on the way from the car to the house. He didn't loose consciousness & refused to let anyone take him into the Dr's
On Thursday he was dizzy & puking, so they called the ambulance to take him in. Upon examining him, they found he has a massive excess of fluid on his lung (we later found out it was 1 gallon after it was drained) They released him Friday afternoon and, upon returning to his house, asked where he was  Hospice has been called & will be there Monday. |

I'm at a loss for words. I've watched way too many friends and family go through this and it always ends the same way.
Hopefully he won't suffer for long and is as comfortable as possible. |

Very sorry to hear about MML's fall. I've had a few concussions through the years, one very bad one where I was puking and didn't know where I was for a couple of days, I didn't lose consciousness either. It's a temporary thing and you get over it, I'm sure MML will as well. I fucking hope so anyways.

Hospice are ANGELS, rely on them. I've watched how hospice helped my ex mother-in-law, and how they helped my mom easing her with pain medications from this phase on to the other.
Hang in there buddy! I got thrown from a horse and didn't know where I was on and off for a few weeks, the forgetfulness and all the rest will go away soon. Big hugs to you, I know none of this is easy, and nothing I've gone through would prepare me for what you are going through. Blessings to you.
