Yes....If they're getting big acts through the door. Dimebag's new band wasn't all that big, but his name is still a big draw. Every responsible bar that caters to wild crowds (metal, hard rock, hip hop, rap) has a responsibility to keep their patrons safe. I can't remember the last time I went to a metal show without a metal detector at the door (oh, the irony

). Doesn't bother me a bit, because it means I can get wild in the mosh pit without worrying about some jackass pulling out a weapon.
