I am glad that Bob asked about contacting the sponsor first thing. When people read a post accusing a sponsor of wrongdoing with an apology or not if he is wrong, they think the person has at least notified the sponsor.

When a site gets added to a program, the sponsor tests it over and over. But sometimes, shit does happen. A big part of testing and fixing a problem within a program is trusting that webmasters will let them know if there is a problem.

Never be afraid to let a program know that there may be a problem. You will be thanked and things will be made right. If you are afraid to be labeled a troublemaker, going to the board before trying other avenues is the wrong thing to do.
