I would challenge anyone to show me how/why their site improved in ranking after installing the bar on their own machine.
..and if by chance it does.. watch them turn it off as more webmasters abuse it..  Use it for what its meant to be for.. it is not a self bloody promotion tool. I have mine tuned off 90% of the time unless I am using it for a specific purpose! DD
