Good Morning
My wife tore up our carpet in our large living room exposing a nice hardwood floor. The only problem was that when this house was built 104 years ago, the living room was actually, 3 smaller rooms. So, you can imagine how the flooring is laid out. Just a little strange.

So, we are off to the discount Rug outlet which we were going to do anyway. A hardwood floor is just a little too cool for me. A few small rugs will fix it right up

I will be gong after noon.

The Bitch is the same way. With this kitchen remodel, the living room is being remodeled as well (only because we have to) We're getting that nice Pergo fake wood floor because that's what she wants. But she's also buying 2 or 3 area rugs to cover the floor....I just don't get it

You could always lay radiant heating wires under the wood- I love my heated wood floors, almost as much as the cat does.

Damn here I put down tile so that my floors would be cooler. Tile really helps down here since the floor stays the temp of the ground. I know back from the days of doing darkroom work that our water from the tap stays around 76F so I would imagine that is about the temp of the ground here.
