some LLs are picky about that, some aren't. I know a few who have listed in their rules who they like to be with, so I would check that first. As long as the list is active, it doesn't really matter too much who's beside me

oh, and I'll add this - sometimes you have to decide for yourself if it's worth subbing to a LL that is so picky they want to be on with only certain lists or they'll reject you
