Ingrid - on the subject of checking root domains - if I know the webmaster well, I don't - but like all linksite owners I start getting subs from webmasters I don't know from adam..... the majority are good hardworking webmasters - but within that group there are dickheads - sad, but a fact of life (and I'm not calling DrB a dickhead - for the record) so I like to sniff around their stuff - see how they do things - that's all - yeah.. I have to spend a little extra time on this - but it pays off. And it don't hold back listings either.... most webmasters who sub to me have their site listed in within 4 hours tops here - every day of the week.
