I wonder if that started with some of the things Aggie football fans used to
say or chant in reference to legendary linebacker Dat Nguyen. We made
shirts that said "How 'bout Dat!" and stuff like that. Dat went on to play for,
and later coach for, the Dallas Cowboys.
