I keep seeing people say "who dat" when talking about the game. What is that in reference to? I watched only the last 5 minutes of the game, which must have lasted 20 minutes.

Who dat? is a chant of team support by sports fans, used especially by fans of the New Orleans Saints.

The entire chant is: "Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gunna beat them Saints?"

I wonder if that started with some of the things Aggie football fans used to
say or chant in reference to legendary linebacker Dat Nguyen. We made
shirts that said "How 'bout Dat!" and stuff like that. Dat went on to play for,
and later coach for, the Dallas Cowboys.
