Numb is better than pain, and when the swelling from the surgery subsides, hopefully that will get better too.
Make sure you check up on your thyroid, as the mother of a son going through thyroid cancer treatments in a few days, it is nothing to put off. He has problems breathing, and that is when he found the enlarged thyroid was a mass of tumors. Glad you are feeling better, it amazes me you can have neck surgery and be home that fast!
