Friday July 3rd (aka Is There A Holiday This Weekend?)

Good Morning

No big plans for the holiday but we never really do. Use to go to the movies, pick one that ends about the time fireworks go off and the theater is usually empty. But last year we skipped because there was a crapload of idiots shooting off fireworks before the 4th and we are in a drought. This year it is even worse (fireworks and drought), thou it seem to be more of the very loud explosive kind versus shit shot in the air, so we are staying home to keep the cats calm and be at the ready in case of fire. F'ing people.

We did purchase a portable ac unit yesterday for testing purposes since it would be cheaper to buy a few of these and move them around as needed versus a ductless mitsubishi system or central air. We finally have a bid coming next week for those.

I feel like this old home is killing me emotionally, physically and financially. I will probably never purchase another house again. Maybe a condo in a retirement community but that's about it.

Well, enough of my bitchin and time to get back to work for I here my right brain cell yelling at the left one, Toughen Up Cupcake!
