Supposed to be over 100° again here today, so guess what took a dump last night...
Yup, A/C not working, fan motor died. Repair guy supposed to be here with new motor this afternoon. Only good news, it's under warranty. Wilted in Texas |

Morning!
 Running a bit late this morning from helping my gimpy Bitch get ready for work. Her foot surgery/procedure went really well. I got to watch, but it wasn't anything special - maybe a 1/4" incision followed by some very cold metal tool that's inserted to kill the nerves in that area. She's sore, but it's a different kind of pain from him digging around in there, so that's good  Feeling kinda upbeat today - must be the coffee  Still filling out forms for SSI, still putting crap on eBay, still working I guess... ISP problems, followed by FTP problems when I finally got back online. So I am not a happy person! And I am well behind with work.
My friends are using up free air miles that are about to expire, by taking a long weekend in Switzerland. So I'm back house sitting for them for a few days, and looking after the dogs and cats. This means the return of:  Puppy NewsGot woken up by a new kind of novelty alarm clock this morning. It consisted of a Rhodesian Ridgeback jumping on the bed, dropping a squeaky hedgehog toy on my face, then growling at me. Not sure this will catch on as a popular method of waking people! |
