I’ve been having a higher amount of stress for the past 3 weeks with a new script and lots of BS bugs etc, so today I am trying to chill some and I turned the TV in the office to the “Music Choice” channel of “Soundscapes” which plays new age music like Enya and Yanni and Clannad.

So I am at my desk working, feeling pretty chilled, the TV directly behind is up a little louder then what I normally have it at and out of the blue the cable network does its weekly “severe weather test” and BLARES a siren on the TV…. Talk about jumping out of my seat.

That really is not a good way to do a test like that on that station with out a word of warning….

Gah! The local cable co. loves to run those bloody tests around 1:30 - 2:00 am on Sundays (well, Monday mornings). ON THE FRIKKIN' MOVIE CHANNELS. Sunday is the day Venturi and I take off to chill and stay up all night watching movies. Missing five to ten minutes of dialogue because they're testing the TESTING system makes my blood boil. That's right - they're not actual tests - they're tests of the testing system. Go figure...
