Ok I have seen enough of this bullshit!! I told stu a month ago when she made these false claims that if this went public she would be the one wearing the egg on her face... I am going to go over this point by point very slow so there is NO chance for a mistake.

First the page in question was a test page that had meta tags copied but not changed to our search terms. There was NOTHING that was even remotely close to anything I have ever seen on NetManiak. The page was up for maybe a day and was changed to a link trade page that stu has had link trades on since the site started....funny how none of this (proof) came out then.

I will admit to the ONLY thing that was done in this matter... The meta tag html was copied instead of typing out<meta= bla bla>. So if stu owns the copywrite to meta tags then I guess we are thieves. If not then this was a simple text replacement mistake and as usual someone crys wolf and you all flock without anything but a yahoo cache to an incomplete page and one side of a story. Did stu happen to mention her and Bratt shared ideas on many sites? I think she may have failed to tell the whole truth but that doesn't surprise me anymore.

Now for some REAL facts...
The page in question on the site LIVE, no bullshit yahoo cache the real deal! And notice the meta text hasn't been changed yet to show I have NOTHING to hide... (Also notice who has their sites in the top listings... They should sound familiar.)

If this was the 1st site you'd ever built, I could easily buy that. But you've been in the business for a long time - why not just go back to one of the sites that you've built in the past & copy the meta from there?

Or since it's such a pain in the ass to type up metas by hand, why not just have something like this in a text file & then just copy & paste it when you need it?

No one OWNS meta tags. But having Stu's site title in the meta tags shows they were copied 100% from her site. That's Wrong!

One of the first things I learned when I started out in the online bizz (I am still a newbie) was that I should never copy from other peoples work. Perhaps it would be helpful to repeat some basic newbie tutorials? Just a thought!

She said they were good to have and I copied them. The page that she speaks of first is called test2 and was a page in progress. I had used another page from my site, copied her metas into it, and turned it into a new page on my site for links. It was never to be uploaded like that with the meta text not being replaced. When I had to do a total domain upload it got uploaded and I wasn't aware of it. That I suppose is my bad, and had I known it was there, I would have taken it down right away. She and I were working closely together at that time and we were sharing many ideas between each other. For her to say she only helped me when I got stuck is pretty sad as we were both helping each other on many different levels.

Had she told us what page was copied or what she was seeing, it would have been changed immediately and remedied the situation, but that never happened. Instead she chose this route.

Funny how if I am such a theif there were only two pages with her metas on it out of 100s on that domain and one of the two is no longer on my computer even. At the time that was built stu and I were constantly talking and sharing ideas on how to improve our sites. Funny how someone can take a simple mistake and turn it into a federal case about cheating. And how those of you that know me, can accuse me of cheating for no real reason. At the end of the day, I think every one of us at one time or another has seen a really neat site, or some amazing tags, or whatever, and copied them to notepad to use as "inspiration" for something else. truth of the matter is that this isn't much new under the porn sun. This isn't 1997, we have all long since used up all the "new" tricks, and now we are just refining the old ones.

Heck, thanks to Cleo for the coding for my sig file. She's good! :-)

That being said, copying code verbatim and putting it on another page is just not a very smooth move. The story can go back and forth as to who did what when, but at the end of the day, the guilty party(parties) know who they are and they will enjoy their moment in hell for doing it. No matter what is said, the guilty know they are guilty and they will punish themselves for it.

That the metas have now been changed only serves to confirm in my mind what the situation likely is.
