Y! doesn't have nearly the search market share that G has, although if you separate out the traffic normally Y converts better...

It's the same every update - the spam dominates for the first few days, then filters get applied and the people that try to do legit SEO get a few days of traffic, then the fresh spam takes over again.

Now that's what I call an optimistic outlook - so we can never win unless we re-tweak our pages constantly (for which I don't have the time - - - unless I don't build/submit anything new anymore)...
