I did fuck up with the links to two of the clips but that wasn't mentioned in the rejection...

The recips at the bottom of the page aren't a problem as they are in view to the surfer when he see's the bottom of the gallery. He doesn't need to scroll down further.

As for recips being at the top as some sites DEMAND... I'm new to this side of the biz and I'd like to know why DEMAND ? Galleries are only listed for a short while yet remain live for a lot longer, so why should they be at the top. List a gallery permanently and your link can be at the top. We are trying to sell our pay sites and not promote listing sites.

One of the first lessons I learned when I started in the avs biz in Feb '99.... Don't have any banners to other sites on a tour in view to a surfer... Point him in one direction... Inside the site... So any banners I've used for other sites have always gone at the bottom of my pages since then Having a small script link is good for se relevancy. Any that I might use on my sites at the bottom of a page are to other sites of mine, which have good listings

I'd bet if you could do a study you'd find more people click recips at the bottom than at the top.

When a surfer enters a gallery page they are looking for pics. They are not going to click the recip button at the top before looking for pics. As the surfer makes his/her way down the page looking at more pics they finally reach the bottom and you have either have a banner to the paysite or recip links to "more free porn". Hello recips, off they go.

i think you are right. i counted clicks on some sites and bottom links are much more often clicked...

I totally agree. I did some testing a while back, and when I placed recips at the bottom they received quite a bit more traffic then when they were at the top. I am more then happy to place recips at the top of the page, I never advertise up there anyway.

There are many TGPs that list galleries permanently on their archive pages. I list submitted gals on my TGP forever and ever on my category pages and rotate them daily. They only get deleted if they 404, redirect or the submitter calls me bad names on the board. (Hey, I'm being honest)

We're trying to promote our sites, not your paysites, so I guess we'll need to find a way to make it work for each other. We all took acception to some of the rules when we started, but once you just accept the system, it all flows nicely.
