Well, there's never a guarantee that you will make money on purchased traffic, and only an experienced buyer can feel fairly certain of a return.
If you have a target for the traffic that you are confident about, then that's somewhat different. But, as I understand it, you are just getting back in, so the chances of your having a reliable money making target are not so good. It's up to you. Ram says he's never lost money (sorry dude, I'm taking a bit of liberty here, I know you've lost, just not in general...). But I have. Now, I can afford to lose it, and losing 200 would be written off to the learning curve for me. If you have 200 that you can afford to lose, give it a try. But, there are other ways to spend that money that quarantee that you will not lose. |

One thing for sure, the $50 for the submit pass to tommy's is the best $50 you'll spend.
Buying traffic is insanely hit or miss...Sometimes a traffic source can be really good for you with one run and then miserable for you the next. I've tried Choker, 1 time successful, and right now I'm starting up another run of advertising and I'm doing so-so (too early to tell though). Google adwords used to be good for my mainstream pages, I never tried them on adult pages. Someone that has might want to elaborate here. It's Search Engine traffic so it'll be overall more productive, but I've heard from a few that adwords hasn't been as effective for them recently. One thing for certain, if the deal sounds too good to be true...it probably is. If you see cheap traffic, it's just that cheap traffic and not really worth that much. I would definitely spend the $50 for Tommy's...you'll get great traffic. If you did more galleries I would probably recommend picking up some other submit passes...but since that's not your focus that's probably not something you would want to explore. |
