I believe the current wisdom right now is to deny hotlinking except for trusted sites.

Then it wouldn't matter when new ones are discovered. Secondly, you can always uncheck that box that says 'automatically parse urls'. If you are using 'Quick Reply', Go Advanced, its under the edit box.

However, if you want to do a huge favor to the industry, check those referral links, submit the form letter with the relevent section of the advertisers T&C.
