Script owners charge a licence and/or server move fee. You usually get an upgrade to the latest version as well, so you aren't really selling the script, just the licence.
For example Tim charges $100 to move UCJ, and the "second hand" value of the licence is between $350 and $400. So you save $100-$150 if you can find someone that is selling. |
