You may have removed your angry avatar, for which I am thankful, but you are still a very angry person. Showing your anger in business is a horrible weakness. Me, I show my anger all of the time. I blame my mother for not holding me enough and my father for holding me too much. The point being, I'm perceiving your anger to be an inappropriate emotional response to being 'called out' on this issue.

You've got to realize that constant changes are a big pain in the ass for your affiliates. Sure, you say that the old codes will still work, but webmasters don't like to have old codes in play. We want to stay current with the program so that we can keep our shit straight and be truly assured that our codes will continue to work and that they are pointing at the correct sites.

I'm fortunate, I don't have the empire that Greenguy has. (Ok, that's not really fortunate.) When a sponsor pulls or changes links, I don't have that many things to change. But I still consider it a major hassle to go and search around through free sites and hubs to find where I may have used those links. I can't imagine what it would be like if I had hundreds of free sites, multiple TGPs, and many, many miscellaneous pages.

So, try to understand our point of view. Every time a program gets a hair up it's and decides to jazz things up, they are creating more aggravation for us. If I wanted aggravation, I'd talk to my kids.

Its all a big misunderstanding...

What Art meant by saying " removing it from the AdultLounge network " is that we wont have it available for new affiliates to promote, meaning they wont see new codes for it, meaning it wont be on the sites list of the AL homepage....but for everyone that already had the codes, it will still be good and work and thats why we didnt need to inform anyone.

The company never changed its mind, i guess it was all just a misunderstanding on how Art said it and how Greenguy understood it...

I've never tried AdultLounge at all so I have no beef but I have to say changing link codes 3 times in 10 months would be a huge pain in the ass!!!!!

Raffi, Greenguy might be the only one complaining publically but I can tell you that if I had to change link codes that often I would be very pissed!!! I understand trying to improve a program but changing link codes that often is a reason in itself to drop a program unless it sells like hotcakes.

And obviosuly Art made an error but it read to me that the codes would be useless soon too.

While I am not promoting this program, I would say that around the third change of link codes in a year I would pretty much be gone. Easier to just delete you stuff and move on than it is to try to follow. Having 30+ sites just disappear from a program without notice or indication is another great step that would surely inspire confidence.

There was an asian program I was promoting. In the period of a year, they went from this link to that link to that link... I admit, one of those was a good one (ibill fucked them) but by the third change, they lost me. Too bad, the sites are really nice sites, but I can't take the chance they will once again change the links and kill my revenue with them.

Things convert badly enough these days don't need to be sending clicks into ether.

Raffi - I think my biggest beef is that when you released Version 4.0 you didn't bother to mention that there were new link codes nor that those 34 sites were not going to be part of the program as they were in the past.

I'd bet that none of your affiliates are complaining like me because they don't know that the link codes have changed & because they think those 34 sites are still in the program the way they were prior to Version 4.0....and they don't know because no one at Adult Lounge bothered to tell them.

I don't think I'm alone in thinking that information like this should really be passed on to the affiliates.

The only thing that would bother me Rafi is not notifying webmasters of link changes. What was the thinking on that?

When I said that it might be a good idea to let webmasters promoting the sites know that they were going to be removed, he came back 12 days later & said:

So how is anyone to know which is correct?

Personally, I'm sick of guessing at what your program is going to do & I'm sick of swapping out your link codes (3 set of codes in the last year) so I searched for my account number & deleted most (if not all) the links I have to you.

You are obviously not an everyday webmaster, because if you were, you'd know that swapping link codes out & trying to guess if a site is still active or not because you removed it from the admin area without telling anyone are 2 things that really fucking annoy honest & hardworking webmasters.

To solve this problem, I just won't use your program & thus, I have no more concerns about your program's practices.
WOW! I cant believe this is still going on.. ok i will try to EXPLAIN AGAIN more clearly, maybe it was my fault with a poor choice of words.

1) AdultLounge is removing about 30+ plus sites from the our network. When i say remove this means you will not be able to get NEW CODES to get the higher payouts for these sites. If you have old codes they will be active and will not be dissolved. Meaning you will get credit from these old codes that you might have out there as long as AdultLounge is in operation.

2) Prior to removing these sites from our network or should i say not making them visible to grab new codes, ALL affiliates were notified 30 days prior. There were total of 3 Letters sent out to all of our affiliate partners along with a couple of newsletters informing them of this move.

3) You say how can we change codes numerous times in less than 10 months? EASY! We are trying to accommodate our webmasters by giving them flexible programs and higher payouts. DON’T YOU WANT TO GET PAID MORE?

4) All this could have been resolved very simple, all you had to do is email me or just him me up on ICQ. I'm sorry i dont come here every day and check post after all i do have an affiliate program to run.

5) I dont know why you have such animosity towards AdultLounge. Is it to create drama to get views? Did i step on your toes? I really would like to know. Its funny how you dont talk about the great conversions you get with our sites & that we pay on time and are always around to answer questions. You are trying to make AdultLounge to look bad for no reason.

Once again if anyone has any questions about AdultLounge, please hit me up on ICQ:282499836 or shoot me an email art@adultlounge.com and I will be more than happy to help.

I think these are legitimate complaints. Again, to me, there really is nothing wrong with changing links as long as the old links work. But, why would you not let the webmasters know. You guys (spam) boards all the time for a whole lot less.

And, this thread has been dead for 3 days. You were the one to keep it going.

I've searched thru all the newsletters & emails that I've gotten from your program & I looked in your admin area & I do not see where you sent or posted this info.

Like I said before, my biggest problem with the changing of the codes is that Adult Lounge never told anyone they were changing the codes. While I was looking for the newsletter/email about the 34 sites that are being "removed" I also looked for info on the changing of the link codes. I don't see it anywhere in the newsletters you sent nor do I see it in your admin area.

If you don't want people to reply to your posts, then maybe you should not post here.

I would be saying the same thing to any program that did the things you are doing. ANY PROGRAM!

BTW - here's screen caps of the Adult Lounge newsletter archive in the admin - based on #2, one would think there's have been an announcement about the link codes & "removed" sites on or around March 11th
