I think it's still a good idea to watermark your images even if it doesn't, but I see a fair number of webmaster use that idea as a reason not to bother trying to do anything about this kind of theft. I'm not so sure that it really generates much traffic.

it will generate the kind of traffic that signs up for a cheap trial, rips your site, and then posts the members section on public forums
