The asterix for all of these isn't that any one is better or worse than the other, it is that some are more expense driver over others. Content is a tough business, unless you are exactly what people want, you end up in the $99 bin pretty fast, and after you pay your models, there isn't a ton of money left over.

In the end, each of these jobs is dependant on your ability to attract and retain surfers, and you ability to sell them something (talking to the small head rather than the big one, the small one is usually physically closer to the wallet anyway). Any of those types of approached will work, give enough time, effort, and desire.

None of them are without risk anymore, however. In all likelyhood, you cna put up a bunch of sites and make NO MONEY AT ALL. Without a decent sales pitch, traffic sources, and filtering, you will be spending more than you make.
