It's hard, intimidating work figuring out the whole freesite submission thing, when you are just starting out.

And I've been doing it for many years, but I can still get exasperated by changes in ownerships, rules, and standards. I don't enjoy the process of studying and testing new linklists, either.

And I'll bet money none of the linklist owners here enjoy that process either, those that submit freesites.

So, Pendo uses poor judgement by expressing his feelings with the word "useless", when he should have thought about it for a minute and spoken more objectively. But, he's trying to share his experience and measurements with other freesite submitters, which is a legitimate topic.

And, bottom line, he is right, there are linklists where, for whatever reasons, it's best not to submit.

Figuring out the list of the best linklists is just basic freesite business.

Bill, I agree with what you are saying, but completely disagree with the way Pendo set out to establish his list.

That's why I misunderstood the first post I guess, didn't know Pendo wanted to compare and not start a list with useless sites
