Not too many seem to be keen on letting us do our own promo design for their sites (understandably wanting to have some quality control), but, if you're allowed and have some graphic design ability, it really can make a difference.
Incidentally, the sponsor I mention isn't taking new affiliates now--I promise I'm not just being greedy by not sharing my little golden (well, high quality brass) egg.

This is putting it lightly and 100% correct. The fact is the harder and more Boundryless people think, the better their results, ofcourse all of this takes some time and some skill, which only makes sence, Barry Bonds is the All Time Homerun Champion because he got lucky once or twice swinging the bat, he did all of the things he needed to do to increase his ability. Create your own tours, see if you can get additionl info from the sponbsor or even a pass into the affiliate area, if your traffic is up and you have a good gameplan see if the sponsor will allow you to download and tag your own images or movies for galleries (this generates EXCELLENT results), create your own banners, link to join pages, spend time marketing your galleries and sites properly. I think more so today than in the past because of the huge influx of Hosted Sites & Hosted Galleries, someone that spends the time doing the above has a huge advantage and sales potential, because everyone is using the promo tools that make life easier, EVERYONE which means harder conversion numbers and less sales accross the board. We have affiliates that use Hosted Galleries & Hosted Sites, they send 3x the traffic and generate 1/3 of the money that an affiliate that creates their own tours, galleries, sites etc. Working hard will make a differance, but may not be overnight.
