Miers has just pulled here nomination to the Supreme Court. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...urt_miers_dc_9

It was the smart thing to do since she had little chance of making it past the congressional committee no chance of getting the Republican thumbs up much less the entire Senate. I’m not sure if this is good or bad since he may now nominate someone that has actually bombed an abortion clinic.

Wait and see.

I always pictures Bush sitting there saying "we can nominate Miers... heck, we control the house, the senate... I could get this ham sandwich appointed to the court".

It would seem that Rove has been a bit pre-occupied with other things to allow his bitch to make such a silly nomination. It is interesting that this happened today of all days. The CIA leak is no longer the top story of the day.
