Purchased Traffic-Love it or Leave it alone?

Tart and I have a new project that we are launching this week and in addition to the usual gallery traffic we were thinking of purchasing some, 25-50K in hits just to give it a quick jumpstart..and NO we can't pay 10K to evildan's program no matter how good the ROI is.

So If you have purchased in the past, please share the good, the bad and the very ugly.

Also, if you had a Good experience and wouldn't mind sharing your source, we'd appreciate that as well.

What's the purpose of the traffic? What are you jump starting without coming right out and saying it. If you are going to purchase traffic that is not going to come back to your site or bookmark it then it's a waste of time unless your feeding it somewhere.

Buying it is a quick nice little boost, building it is for the distance runner. I like to be in the Marathon, not the 100 yard dash.

Ramster: it's for a niche specific tgp we are starting, covering some of the more under utilized fetishes, such as GTS, hairsuit *not just in the pubic areas*, messy, like pieface, mudlarking etc. as well as few few common ones like stocking, feet, inflation.

As a camHo, i was amazed at some of the requests we receive. My ULTIMATE goal is to direct those surfers who have these specific fetishes to the PPM cam rooms of the girls who participate in those fetishes. But we were 'stiffled' by most TGPs, even the fetish specific ones, for only covering the most common ones like Balloon and even those were difficult to find, or not updated etc.

My Hotties and Dollies are very open to taking pictures that are niche specific but often they don't have the equipment or the extra pair of hands available to take pictures other than 320x240 webcam shots and very few TGPs accept them.

i really don't think i'll make Millions of dollars on this, but I think over the long haul we will pick up a following.

I really believe that the only way to make money is Build, Submit, Build.

As far as buying traffic, i'm looking for probably a 1 time shot, to get some traffic flowing, hopefully a few bookmarkers that will come back and build on that.

EJ: Should i mention that i spent 2 hrs of my playing hookie day yesterday taking Hosted Galleries from ExtremePaychecks?

If it is a very niche specific TGP like that (I'm not sure I know what some of those things are and not sure I want to know. LOL), then buying traffic might be a good idea as you are bound to get some bookmarkers on a tgp offering something that may not be so readily found elsewhere.

The key now is to find a tgp or traffic source that will be able to sell fetish or whatever traffic rather than regular blind traffic from some babe tgp for example.

I know Choker probably has the widest range of traffic available niche wise at galleryspots.com or chickentraffic.com. Exit traffic from SexZity.com is about the best exit traffic that is any good most people feel. If there is such a thing.

I've bought gallery spots in the past. I liked the system that Choker had a few years ago, but have never tried the system that he has now.

I have been looking a buying spots at one of the TGPs that I often submit to. IN fact it is on today's to do list.

when you have guys wanting to purchase amateur videos for 60-100 each, it can really ad up in the 'win' column for certain fetishes. I have guys who will pay 60.00+ for 30 minutes of naked bubble gum blowing, bug crushing, pie in the face, etc. If those guys have found cam rooms, there must be 100's or 1000's who havent. and those are MILD comparatively.

and it also varies by PPM site, what is considered legal on one site, it taboo on another, so it will lead them to the right space.

I won some traffic from SexZity.com and it wasn't bad, but i sent it to the wrong place. so i'm thinking if i purchase and send to the RIGHT place, it will be better.

I really only use it to get trades moving. I've never really see a revenue increase on days that I have used it.

For like choker traffic and stuff - the productivity of it is horrible.

My most productive traffic is the traffic that goes back and forth between my own tgps (maybe that's because they all look the same and the surfer never knows they left the site - lol)

i did it once from a big company i wont name lol. i didnt even want conversions just to fill a chat temporarily till it took off on its own. and i got the traffic lol a bunch of unique bookmarkers lol. i ask anyone to show me one fucking unique bookmarker in any of your stats even if u get a million a day lol. a unique bookmarker is not even possible lol. geee could it have been bots i wonder. plus i would put it this way think of it why would a person sell their traffic, if it could make money, then they would keep it and send it to sponsors. if u had 1,000 apples on your apple farm and also had a fruit stand downtown would you whosale the apples to someone else when you could get the retail price. same as porn as apples or boxes or manuer lol. |rasta|

Like Jay said, it's best to use it to feed something. To buy it hoping to gain a bookmarker or make money from it is not what should be done.

People sell traffic all the time and not because it's useless. Most of time it is fairly useless as far as making money because these surfers have been through the ringer already. LOL But many sites sell very good traffic but that's a different scenario meaning buying a spot on a top tgp for example. Most of the time the guaranteed revenue of the paid spots is better than building a ton of galleries every day for that site owner.
