Richard's Realm trouble

On a related note, I submitted a gallery:

to Greenguy and three other TGPs on the 2nd and haven't heard back from any
of 'em. That's been my experience with building galleries; I build 'em, the TGPs ignore 'em

I did get accepted on two small TGPs with a non-recip gallery but that netted a whopping 40 hits.

Can anybody let me know what I'm doing wrong? Or is it just a matter of playing the numbers game? You submit to as many TGPs as possible and sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't?
