whats the best sales page for a paysite?

Is there an affiliate program? If so, who cares about the SE stuff.

If it's your personal site & you want to go after SE's & whatnot, then text (doesn't have to be a blog) is probably the way to go (as it's always been IMHO)

And yeah I hear ya about text is king for SEO. To expand on my orignal thought/question, ONCE traffic arrives, what's best for making the SALE?

I personally like the slick graphics rich sales page. I kinda dont care for the current blog style a lot of front pages are showing. Of course I have NO IDEA how those blog pages are converting...........

so you paysite owners out there - what's your experience in this area of making the front/sales pages?

Don't even give any thought to a "Reality Tour". Every paysite/sponsor has rolled them out for their sites, and they're all cookie-cutter even from one sponsor to the next. I say do your own thing, try not to follow the herd... load it up with good description text (too many sites aren't doing that AT ALL these days...) and good luck!

Self generated sales has never done any wrong and if the sytem is well done it might allow affiliate links to be ranked.
