Free site question: is this normal?

In my opinion its NOT OK to put ads to site1 when you use site2's free content (even on index and main when you use pics on galleries only) but it seems most sponsors dont have a problem with it so why should I.
I accept the sites. Thays why its so common in free site world. So.. as other metioned I think you should contact him and let him know you dont like the way he uses your content.
