Just out of curiosity, how would you count an ad with no link? aka phone sex ad with just a number. It's for profit but it's not an actual link.

Well, since I don't actually count hrefs (again, within reason)...I'd have to count that phone number as an ad...therefore adding it to the 3 ads per page allowed

It's a good question as most LL rules say something to the effect of "3 outbound links per page".

But to use a phone sex number to skirt the rules, wouldn't put you in the best light with most LL owners.

As for counting hrefs, I don't either. I know I've had my own free-sites blocked at the submit point because the script detected too many href's, drove me batty.
