Morning all

I just had to do some errands first thing this morning so I could spend all day of this beautiful morning inside staring at pixels. The wind has been coming from the east for the last 4 days so we have been covered by dust from a construction zone ½ block away so the A/C has been running not stop for 3 days and from the look of the floors and countertops and the white spots on my cats, I wish we had it on for 4 days, there is nothing like a nice layer of dirt/dust completely covering everything inside your home.

Indiana Pacers retired Reggie Millers #31 last night and TNT had it on live, very good ceremony until Gov Mitch Daniels (R) took the mic and got booed…twice… When he was suppose to be there praising Reggie he instead tried to turn it to his political gain and asked Reggie on behalf of Indiana jobs to wear a tie on TNT so more people will want to move their business to Indiana… fucking politicians… time and place people… Any way Reggie’s #31 is were it belongs hanging from the rafters.

Not much planed for this weekend, just a long list of things I need to do so I guess its time to start doing them….

Just saw Ramsters Post... CONGRATS!!!

Gooood mornin GG&J!

Yup, another warm day in paradise! Think I'm gonna fire up the carpet cleaner and try to make my white carpets white again

Better to do it now while the weather is cool enough to have the house open with air flowing through. Won't be long until it's a/c time 24/7

Have a great day everyone...and may the sales be yours! Oh, and mine too of course

Woke up from a restless night with terrible stomach cramps. Fantastic!

Great Day All! Does anyone watch Tucker Carlson? Did you see they had this ---> dancing on the screen yesterday at the end of the show? lol.

Going to buy the wood to build my desk today. Finally feeling great after the migrane the other day, so want to get it built, and get back in my room. I'm tired of working in the living room and having my cat constantly wanting attention.

It is 53, calling for a high of 60 and overcast, so good day to stay inside and get my office built.

OMG everyone you had my laughing with your posts today. I needed that, thank you. Digifan, Cleo, and Preacher, hope you both feel better soon.

Take care all and may a lot of $$$ come your way today.

Now if you were really butch you would use an axe and head out to a forest to chop down a tree. Personally I'm more of the go buy a ready made desk myself but to each their own I guess.

lol. Can't chop down a tree, you have to wait too long for the wood to dry or you have green sappy wood.

I'm building a custom desk along 2 walls, and I have no idea where to buy an 8' x 2' desk, so we are building it. It will just be square on one wall, but the other it goes from 16" deep flares out to 22", then back to 16" and is about 10' long. I worked as a handy woman for years, did a lot of construction stuff, so I love to do things like this.

MadHatter actually used to build custom furniture out of slabs of burl wood, I'd love to do that again, that stuff is cool.
