is "Deadwood" dead?

Yeah, I saw a 'commercial' for the new season just the other day, and got all geeked about it. Then read this and got bummed. Now I have mixed feelings on it.

I would hate to see it end, because I love the show. At the same time, I'd hate to see go bad and turn into crap like the current season of, The Soprano's. Maybe this season will be good and they can go out on top, instead of "jumping the shark".

Always leave them wanting more.
