Funny conclusion to recent TGP article...

I know everyones off at the convention, but I thought this was amusing, so I'll post it anyway.

So, in the recent ynot newsletter, there's a typical rah rah TGP/MGP article.

But it ends by suggesting that the proper way to do TGPing is to submit free hosted galleries. What a hoot!

Kind of sad that a webmaster resource would say things like that.

Talk about giving bad advice.

No wonder I end up listing 25 submissions out of 180+

Seems the newbs of a year ago are now giving advice!

Heres a nice piece from a "webmaster resource" site??? and I use the term loosely..

In the top frame put your XXXXXX or XXXXXX links, just put up all the niches they offer (example: amateurs, anal, etc..)
Save it as gallery1.htm or something simular. Do the same with gallery2 and we have our ground work ready.
Warning page

Here comes the title of your free site (can be large text or a logo, you decide).
Below that you can plaster a banner to a sponsor (preferably the one you use the hosted galleries from), then the warning text.
Below the text put an 8 cell table to put your recips on and below that a big ENTER link leading to your main page and a big EXIT link leading to a non adult site.(click here for a good tip on that)

Below that plaster your XXXXXX links and your XXXXXX links and at the bottom put a link to your hub.

Main page

Same as with the warning page only instead of the warning text a nice welcome text and the links to gallery 1 & gallery 2.
Below that the same links as on your warning page to XXXXXX & XXXXXX.

There we have it our first free site in under 20 minutes

Now upload the stuff and click next below.

What have we done?
We have built a freesite designed to make money. It's not what the big guys like Green Guy or Tommy would like you to build, but we're here to make bling not to give them wood reviewing

Don't even try to submit to their sites instead go to Linkmachine and compile a list of Link Lists. You will get a large list of around 400 sites so the boring part begins:

Some names have been XXXX'd to protect the "innocent"

I suspect that because the author sees that every other gallery on the TGPs is a sponsor hosted she believes that those galleries were submitted.

Naturally the author is a sponsor rep. The article is really very 16-months-ago. TGPs/MGPs are now where all the traffic is blah blah blah if you are not using TGP/MGP traffic you are missing out blah blah blah. Not one single word about the big TGP or gallery issues of the last year, except for praising the power of sponsor hosted.
