PDF. Word documents can be easily changed so it's kind of silly sending important docs like contracts in Word format unless they're still a work in progress.
Things like documentation that contains URLs though. Those are constantly being updated and it's certainly nice to cut and past from a word, html or text document, which is something that you can't do in PDF. |

i publish 2 newsletters that are sent out monthly and do them as a PDF because of the copywrites. However as was recently pointed out to me, anyone with a "goal" and a "ripper" can make changes if they want to.
