There are a lot of good hosts out there...and a lot of half asses hosts unfortunately.
Having experienced cheap hosting first hand, I'd suggest to steer clear of trying to get hosting for the absolute cheapest price possible. Hosting is far too important in this business to cheap out on it...imo of course. Having said that... Sparky aka cd34 runs Colo-cation which is where this board is hosted. He's also a valuable community member here and hosts many of the board members sites  Personally, I've gotten totally spoiled by ISPrime. They're not cheap, but I know my main sites are with one of the best in the biz. And when I need something, their support is first class I've also got a server with Web1Host. Dave over there is an absolute pleasure to work with and his prices are pretty darned reasonable too  Those are my most recent experiences with hosts. Some of the other top dogs that come to mind... NationalNet Splitinfinity WebAir MojoHost There are a whole host of hosts to choose from  That should give you a good start on your search |
