Most popular feed readers?

Some good thoughts there, thanks.. But in looking at those stats, besides Yahoo, the rest dont even show up, course as said there seems no good way to track it anyways.

Guess the more you think about it, if the surfer has a reader other than the SE's or SE page, seems they would be smarter about how to add new feeds, they would have to be really. Where as the SE group, they might be more easy, click and do type.

Here's a quick question, though a little off subject. Do SE's find rss feeds or links on their own, like harvesting links with bots?

Yes. Mine has been harveted. I haven't gotten much traffic from it, but bots do look for it. I think it's the header tag pointing to the feed that does does the trick.

Which is why use feedburner....at least when someone does find my feed its formatted.

It is interesting but on my server stats MyMSN shows up as much as MyYahoo but on my feedburner stats, MyMSN never shows. I'm assuming that for some reason feedburner is seeing the MyMSN reader as a generic reader of some sort. I know that's what I sort of assume.

Also, yahoo was the first of the SE's to add a reader for homepages and Google trailed way behind. Since those surveys are a little dated it could be that Google may have not really been in the game at the time.
