I just read that post of mine and it's a bit confusing. Sorry.
I had no real idea what I was doing when I set up my wordpress blog at the start of this year. Experimenting combined with reading the Wordpress documentation has been the main way I've learned http://wordpress.org/support/ Also asking questions here. Do a board search to see if anyone has asked a similar question before.
