A few times when picking sponsor site to promote, I've gone to some LLs to check what's most commonly promoted... and then I've decided to push something that I didn't see very much of.
And your way would take that a step further.
Thanks for that tip
Not a problem, virgohippy told me ya make nice sites so you will find what sticks for you soon enough.

Personally I do not agree.. as a reviewer myslef I find it very annoying, exactly as dareutwo mentioned, to see 10 (or more) sites in one category from one submitter day by day. I'd rather suggest to focus on one sponsor and go through its sites, changing category (if possible) every day.
Pick 3-5 sponsors go through all their sites 3 times, as I mentioned above, and you will know what sell well for you. Then take next 3 sponsors and do the same, then next 3. After few weeks/month you will be able to pick best selling sites and rotate categories each day - I'm quiet sure they wont be in the same category
I can imagine that... and intend to try "every" category eventually.. but right now I must get rid of this recip-making carpal tunnel and strange neck spasm the creation of 4049 recips have gotten me
so I was curious to hear what others do and what's acceptable.

So, it seems that there must be a good balance in number of niches to specialize in, and still make sure that the span of niches is big enough to avoid rejections because of that.

So far "Lesbians" is doing the best for me, but with just 1 site under the belt, it doesn't say much
So I realize that I have to explore many more areas before I can decide what works best for me.

I like your idea of going through all sites of a sponsor... I might try that.
But there are so many sponsors, SOO many nice sites to promote and so little time!
And what if the sponsor turn out to suck after 50 sites built for 'em?

Of course, I know what you mean and you are right. But just imagine situation when you have most of your free sites promoting one particular sponsor - you are doing extremly well but one day the sponsor quits the biz or makes huge changes in its affiliate program.

Good example would be maxcash - 2 years or so they closed most of their niche sites and redirected incoming traffic to to new, rather general, sites. I've seen many webmasters complaining and removing their links because sales dropped dramatically

PS. I wouldnt be fair if I didnt mention that much changed since that time in maxcash and they have some ass kicking sites again

Where's the blush smilie? *blush*

You're more than welcome iMan; and thank you.

Isn't it nice to know reviewers talk about submitters behind their backs.
