Good Back To Work Monday

Very sore this morning again. I am now done with the cherry picker and the Christmas Lights. I still have our porches to do and windows but, the lights around the roofline are done. Anyway, I have until Thanksgiving to get it done. So, it's back to real work.

I went to bed with a scratchy throat like my wife did about a week and a half ago just before she got the flu. I keep saying "I'm not ready for the flu but, I guess you can't pick and choose."

I should be around all day except for my everyday running.

I'm feeling a bit sore myself. Saturday some guy rammed his knee against my thigh while playing soccer and it still hurts like hell. I'll get him back in the next round

Other than that it's just the usual.

Suppose to head down to Miami to see dead bodies this afternoon with a friend. Other then seeing dead people not much else planned.

Finally the kids are back in school. I'll spend about half the day picking up pieces of what I should be doing online, and the other half picking up pieces from having a bunch of kids in the house all weekend.

Bills lost, but that was pretty much expected - we left at the end of the 3rd quarter & watched the rest of the game while eating chili & clam chowder

Anther nut doctor appt for me today & I can see a nice long nap in my future

Starting to get into the season here... the only season we really celebrate... Halloween. As usual, there are the big Fantasy Fest celebrations going on down in Key West for those who want the "crowds of thousands" experience.

Today is mostly a work day, and waiting to hear about a friend who's having some surgery this morning.

Morning..
Not much today.. distributing checks, playing mom, preparing for 150K people who'll be arriving in Vegas starting on Saturday for the Auto aftermarket show. It's pretty cool actually and i get to preview all the newest gadgets.

I bought a new bed over the weekend so I get to find out today how many weeks it will take to get delivered. Knowing the back up here in vegas, about 6 - 8.

Had a nice weekend. Took a drive along the coast ended up in Malibu at a place called Paradise Cove for the first time. Lovely spot you drive down into. They filmed a couple Gidget movies there. Dining tables inside and on the beach plus lounge chairs to have a drink while waiting for your table.

after a nice rest "no net weekend", i have a "no rest . kids at home from school" for a week, its autumn holiday and since i am the moron who work at home, i have to deal with them, so ofcourse the wetaher is fucking me also, bad weather here so i cant kick them outside the house to play...nooooooo i have to keep them busy, so today i took them shopping, tomorrow i will take them shopping, hell i will take them shopping for a whole week

lets see how glad they will be when they get to school again after a week
