Virus warning

If you use yahoo messenger msn or aim and you get a message from someone on your contact list with a url to thecoolpics.com do not click the link it leads to a site that will attempt to install viruses on your computer and if it is sucessfull one of the viruses will use your msn, aim or yahoo contact list to sent out the url to everyone on your list.

Just an update and yes I got hit with this url/virus
if you do get it and the viruses are easy enough to get rid of but you end up with pop ups and your ad ware remover can not find it search for a file called jkkji.dll if it exist then that is what causes the pop ups and slowed down ie. Now removing it is a bitch but the only way that I know of, I spend two days finding a way, is to boot in dos using a boot disk or a oem win98 disk. Then just delete the file c\windows\system32\jjkkji.dll reboot open regedit search for jkkji.dll and delete the registry entry for it. If you try to delete the registry entry first it will just put the registry entry back before you can reboot.

Thank you Murderous, I took a look over Prevx1 site and I think it's worth downloading ( which I'm doing right now ) and giving it a try.

Welcome to the world of Vundo, that's the name of it
by the way and it's a MF to get rid or.
The only program that I know of that gets rid of it without
manual labor is spynomore.com which will give you a free
scan but tell ya upfront you'll need to buy it for 30 some bucks to
use it..

Ya seen the gif below b4?

Prevx1 came up a few weeks back on a spyware forum and
the jury is still out but it looks like a winner.
You notice it's a different kind of program from all the others,
never need to scan anything.
The only downside is it does seem to slow PC performance.
I'm going to check it out myself soon, it's a UK company also If
I remember right and it did have a free trial for 30 days..
