The Red Barn, in Mississippi just across the Alabama state line. I think the drinking age in MS at the time was 18...fake ID's always worked.
The Elbow Room in Fairhope. Set up by church folk to keep us out of trouble. Flasks always sneaked in. No name, just a cow pasture outside of town where we could try and drink a 6-pack between 8:00 p.m. and midnight without puking...ahhh, those were the days. |
