I guess the best way is to put the links of the blog directories that sort the listed blogs on incoming hits at the top of all the links. This way your blog will be place at or near the top at the blog directory and your blog will receive more traffic from the blog directory. The same of course apply to link trades, put the link trades that bring in the most hits at the top to get even more hits from the link trade. Well you get the idea
