inspired by the insight!
I just want to say thanks to all of you. There is so much to learn, its like cracking a code.
One question Virgohippie or anyone who cares to answer is by back link to your free sites do u mean putting a link from one of your own sites to another one of your sites? and is there any sort of simple explanation as to how traffic trade scripts work... any anyone would recommend? thanks. I can't wait till I can contribute... I kinda feel like a mooch. |

Don't get discouraged; it's usually the last key that opens the lock...

Welcome to the board!
I see you've received some good advice so far. I believe Virgohippie meant putting a link back to your site on freesites you build to submit to linklists. There are many different ways of generating some traffic and the traffic won't just show up. You will need to actively promote the site to build traffic imho. Best of luck with your site. |

![]() It's not much, but the small steady trickle can add up over time, and the quick and lasting attention they bring from SE spiders is nice too. ![]() Simple explanation of traffic scripts: Content links point to an encoded url produced by the script. When a surfer clicks on a link they may (or may not) be redirected to a "traffic trading partner" instead of the destination they expected. Traffic trading partners do the same on their end. The one with the most traffic at the end of the day wins... or something... I don't know how the game is played, I just know the rules. ![]()
